New Long Branch Gym Envision Health and Fitness Puts the Focus ...

Ron Genovese, owner of Envision Health and Fitness, says his goal is to cater to every one of his clients' personal needs.

"We're more of a family-style gym," Genovese said. "Everybody's needs, bodies, diets and schedules are different."

Envision Health and Fitness is Long Branch's newest gym and opened about a month ago at 200 Ocean Blvd. North.

Genovese said his gym offers something for everybody and that it is a place where people can go to have any type of workout they desire.

"We get very in depth with our customers on a one on one basis," Genovese said.

One of the unique aspects of the gym is its location. The gym overlooks Seven Presidents' Park and the ocean, and customers can view these beautiful spots while they do their cardio exercises.

"You can't get that view anyplace else," Genovese said. "We have a lot of people who come here specifically to watch the sunrise while they do cardio."

In addition to the Life Fitness exercise equipment, Envision also offers classes ranging from bosu to yoga.

Genovese said new outdoor programs will also be available starting this spring, including bootcamp, cross fit and yoga.

"It will be a lot of fun," he said. "Having a workout outside while the sun rises with 50 to 100 people participating is really cool."

Genovese said the gym also has a sauna and massage room.

"We can break you and fix you here," Genovse said with a laugh.

Envision Health and Fitness is open 24-7. Staffed hours are from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, but members get an access card that will allow them to enter after hours.

After gaining access, members are free to use the gym's cardio equipment, weight-training rooms, lockers, juice and snack bar, meal planning and recipe suggestions, nutritional and dietary supplements and other amenities.
